Sensory Sundays
Sensory Sunday will take place on the last Sunday of every month throughout the year. The centre will turn the music off in the mall and retailers will either turn their music low or switch off. Tannoy used in an emergency. All customer-facing Swan Centre staff have undergone training with the South Hampshire Branch of the National Autistic Society to help them understand the issues that people with Autism face in a busy shopping centre and have any understanding on how to support customers with Sensory issues.
